Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I have to take my car where the insurance company tells me?

A. Definitely not, the consumer has the right to take their vehicle to any repair shop of their choosing.

Q. Do I need to book a time for a quote?

A. You do not need to book, just pop in during open hours, fill out a few details, and one of our friendly staff will take photos of the damage. You will be back on the road in 5 minutes and we will email you a repair estimate.

Q. How long will my car take to repair?

A. Usually we can have it in and out within the same week, but this also depends on the size of the job, parts availability and the work involved.

Q. How long will it be before my vehicle can be booked in?

A. Most of the time we can book your vehicle in for the week following the acceptance or approval of the quote. This also depends on parts availability.

Q. Do you have loan vehicles?

A. We can provide loan vehicles, however sometimes there may be a longer wait to book in depending on availability. In some cases, if you are not at fault in an accident, we can supply you with a free vehicle from a company called Right2Drive.

Q. Who do I pay my excess to?

A. You can choose to pay your excess directly to us or to your insurance company.

Q. Do you accept credit cards?

A. We can accept credit card payments. However the transaction would need to be done online, so this is to be organised before repair completion for funds to clear. There is a small fee charged by the service provider for this.

Q. How long will it take for the insurance company to authorise the repairs?

A. Each insurance company varies, but if everything is in order, it will usually clear within a week of us sending them the repair estimate.

Q. How can I get my vehicle to you if I'm not near by?

A. If you are not close to us, we are able to arrange for a tow truck to pick up your vehicle.
